Tarrytown Expocare directly manages refill requests with your prescribers, only involving agency staff if approval issues arise. We preemptively request “new” refills for routine medication over a month before your current prescription’s end, faxing the prescriber twice before making a follow-up call. If approval is still unattainable at this point, we then seek agency assistance.
Tarrytown Expocare ensures transparency with no hidden costs. All prescriptions for individuals are submitted to insurance for coverage. Agencies are promptly notified if coverage for an order is denied with costs disclosed upfront.
For agencies, the most common cost an agency may incur is for misplaced medication or housestock supplies, which are typically not covered by Medicare or Medicaid.

Yes. We also highly recommend using our MARs as experience has taught us that shared MARs significantly improve patient care. At Tarrytown Expocare, we work tirelessly to ensure MAR accuracy and clarity by promptly discontinuing expired orders, entering new orders, and correctly categorizing administration types.
