The nurse will be ab le to identify the classes of oral medications that can be used to treat Diabetes Mellitus, discuss some of the differences in mechanism of action that may make oral agents for DM preferred agents, recognize the different types of insulins available on the market and when one is preferred over the other, and discuss newer antidiabetic agents on the market
