Join Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy and Developmental Disabilities Nurses Association (DDNA) for an engaging webinar focused on Skin Disorders in Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).

Led by award-winning pharmacist Nanette Wrobel, RPh, this session will explore common skin conditions affecting individuals with IDD, along with important considerations for recognizing symptoms, understanding potential causes, treatment and medication management, and knowing when additional clinical evaluation may be needed. The discussion will also consider the unique challenges that communication differences and co-occurring conditions can create when identifying and managing dermatologic concerns.

With more than 40 years of experience, Nanette brings extensive expertise in clinical health and medication education for professionals supporting the IDD community.

Designed for nurses, QIDPs, clinicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary care teams, this webinar will provide practical information to help professionals more confidently recognize and respond to skin-related concerns. Attendees will leave with insights they can apply to support earlier identification, appropriate treatment and monitoring, and improved health outcomes for individuals with IDD.

This webinar is eligible for 1.0 CE credit for Nurses and QIDPs.
